When Mean Girls Grow Up

Walking through a parking lot this week, I spotted this.
The blue car on the left is in a legal spot.  The gray car is not.  And there was a car immediately to the right of the gray car that would make it impossible for them to get out.

I stopped when I saw it and wondered what the back story was.  Was the gray car driver just oblivious and didn't realize what they had done?  Was the blue car talking on their phone or multitasking when they blocked them in?  Surely.  That must be it.  No one would do this intentionally.  Not when there are at least 10 open spots within plain view.  I snapped a photo of it.  Not sure why at the time, but I did.

When I came back through the lot four hours later, the cars were all still in the same spots.  But this time I noticed something I hadn't seen before.  Under the wiper of the gray car's front window was this.
Really?  Are you kidding me?  Yes, the gray car driver made a dumb move.  Whether it was intentional or not.

But the driver of the blue car then went on to intentionally block them in.  That wasn't enough.  They then took the time to pull a bank envelope out to write a nasty note.  Unbelievable.

All when there were plenty of convenient open spots within 20 feet.

It kind of struck me as I walked away.  Just making assumptions based on the handwriting here, but I think this is what happens to Mean Girls when they grow up.

They stop passing snarky notes on notebook paper.  And start writing them on their bank deposit envelopes.  They are still bullies.  And they still take great joy in bringing a bit of misery to another person's day.
