We have no 5-second rule here (with a giveaway and my first vlog)

Pretty much, after every meal, our floors look like this.

It's really a simple mathematical equation:

3 boys x 1 of them being a toddler x no pets = 1 disaster of a floor all of the time.

So I have to admit I was kind of geeky excited when I was asked if I wanted to try out the Swiffer SweeperVac.*

The package came with its own samples of dirt, cereal, synthetic hair (so as not to be too repulsive) and food crumbs.  This all made me laugh a bit as, well, let's face it, I have plenty of those things on my own.

But as soon as the kids went to bed on Friday night and Brian went back to work, I also got to work and promptly dumped them all of the floor.

And then I read the directions.  Yeaaaah... That whole direction-reading this isn't really a strong suit of mine.

I now had a giant mess on my floor and a SweeperVac that needed to charge for up to 18 hours.

So I did what any slightly-less-than-rational person would do at 11:30 at night and left it there and went to bed.  Which, yes, did baffle Brian when he came home late that night.

However, 18 hours later the light was green and I was good to go.

Which was great as we were having company in two hours.

I grabbed my camera and figured I'd tape the process so you can see what you think for yourself.  My apologies for the shaky video of the vacuuming, it's not as easy to hold the camera steady while vacuuming as I thought...

So there you have it.  If you want to enter to win a $40 Walmart gift card that you could use to try one yourself, just click here to learn how to enter!
