It's Hard Being a Kid

Earlier this week, I arrived at daycare to find Eli looking like this.

Yes, that is a Strawberry Shortcake hat paired with mismatched mittens.

And can you see how his friend, Char, was reaching into the shot to steal the mitten that matched the one she was wearing?

She succeeded.

 

And he was not happy about it.

 

Really not happy about it.

And as I crouched there on the floor to get perfectly-adorable-in-a-really-pitifully-sad-way pictures of him, the teachers all had the same comment.

"You can tell this is her third kid."
