Parenting advice from a 6-year-old

It's been a very snowy winter here in Minnesota.  We're kind of running out of places to put the snow in our small city yard and narrow alley.

For instance, this is our outdoor fire pit.

As we got home last night I got stuck coming into the driveway.  After 20 minutes of trying not to swear in front of the kids (and some shoveling, too), we finally made it into the garage.

We're walking into the house and Noah pointed to the large mound of snow in our yard and said,  "Hey Mom, you better not put Eli right in the middle of that snowbank, cause I am pretty sure we wouldn't find him until spring."

Not sure if Noah has seen me deposit our smallest child in a snowbank before, but, phew, I sure am glad that he eliminated that possibility for me.

Because I think he might be right.
