Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer - Dr. No Style

Driving home last night, we were listening to Christmas music on the radio and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" came on.


Dr. No was singing along in the classic way, you know, adding in the "If you ever saw it (saw it)" and "like a lightbulb" flourishes.


It went like this:

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (Reindeer)

Had a very shiny nose (like a lightbulb)

And if you ever saw it (saw it)

You would even it say it glowed (light a lightbulb)

All of the other reindeer (reindeer)

Used to laugh and call him names (like Pinocchio)

They never let poor Rudolph (Rudolph)

Join in any reindeer games (like Monopoly)

Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say (Ho Ho Ho)

Rudolph with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight

Then all the reindeer loved him (loved him)

And they shouted out with GLEE (LIKE THE TV SHOW)

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (Reindeer)

You'll go down in Hi-stor-eee (Like Columbus)

In honor of a call out for Witty Kid stories on this blog I thought I'd share this one.  I think that version is a keeper at our house.
