Dear Binky, or are Eli refers to you "Bih."
I just want to say thank you. You have been with us, well in various forms, since the beginning. Back in the days when you seemed to be the size of Eli's head.
You did get to come out from time to time to help us out.
You came on trips.
You helped us go on hikes during naptimes.
You went with us to "new" things, like baseball games, where Eli might have otherwise felt unsure.
And, of course, you helped me be a safer driver many times (with some help from Elmo) when Eli just didn't want to be in the car seat.
However, Eli has decided now that he agrees with us and that he is a big boy. He seems to be ready to move on. And we are supporting him in his decision. He even opted to introduce you to one of his other favorite past times, putting things in the trash.
"Tash?" Eli now says when he finds you and your brothers around the house. Don't take it personally. We all have appreciated and respected you and all you have done for us.
We're just ready to move on. Once again thank you. We wish you the best.

Love it. My son uses a pacifier for sleep and car rides, oh and stroller rides when we are out an about during a naptime. Not sure when I will make him stop. But he also loves to put things in the trash.
Oh, this is so cute! Love this. Landon never used a binky, but I guess I am still his binky (my breasts) when he needs to be comforted :)
Thanks. it has been shockingly smooth to transition out of it.
